In the classical posture of the educated man, the official sits on a rectangular base and looks at his inscribed papyrus scroll with his head slightly inclined. Next to him, the god of wisdom Thoth, patron saint of all scribes, is enthroned in the form of a baboon on a raised pedestal, in front of which lies an offering plate.
