Born in Gütersloh in 1959, sculptor Annette Diekemper's naturalistic works follow the art of the great animaliers of Jules Mene and Antoine Barye, whose designs enjoyed great success in the Parisian salons. Her aim is to depict animals in their appearance and behaviour as authentically as possible and thus capture a snapshot of the beauty of nature. Polymer art casting.
