The theme of Leda from Greek mythology, who approached Zeus in the form of a swan, has been taken up in the visual arts since antiquity. Bruno Bruni dealt with it several times in his oeuvre. In this bronze sculpture, he shows the perfect fusion of human form and animal body: in a surrealistic manner, the slender, elongated body of a girl is harmoniously transformed into a long, curved swan's neck. Sculpture in bronze, on a Carrara marble plinth. Cast using the lost wax technique. Limited edition of 1,000 pieces, numbered and signed. Height with plinth 56 cm, weight 6.5 kg.
