In this version based on the design by Eva Maria Cuerva, Mickey is depicted true to the original, but with a bold aesthetic design. It plays with the effects created by combining the matt black colour of the head, trousers and faceted base with the glazed surface of the ears and body. The splash of colour comes from the delicate white porcelain flower, which has been modelled by hand petal by petal and sits on Mickey's chest.
