Installation for the 2010 exhibition with sea lions in Mülheim an der Ruhr. In the year of the Capital of Culture, the Aquarius Water Museum in Mülheim an der Ruhr presented a new exhibition area: virtual water. With the installation of 300 sea lion objects, Ottmar Hörl transformed the museum forecourt into a walk-in floor sculpture. The art object is made of weather-resistant, unbreakable and non-toxic plastic using a rotational moulding process in Germany. All ingredients come from Germany and are subject to constant quality control. Black. Limited edition of 250 pieces, signed. Size 52 x 85 x 65 cm (H/W/D).
