In 2013, the sculptor and conceptual artist Ottmar Hörl distributed 500 garden gnomes in the park at Mariaberg Monastery. For this installation entitled 'The Green Branch', he chose the symbol of the bourgeois idyll par excellence and gave it an unexpected ironic twist with the gesture of the 'Victory' sign.
