Richard Senoner sees himself as a traditional sculptor and has long devoted himself to the classic motif par excellence - the nude and in particular the depiction of the female body. His aim is to translate expressiveness, aesthetics and harmony into sculpture. He is less interested in the classical 'pose', which has long held sway in old sculpture. His female figure entitled 'Mindfulness' is not in a pose, she is not presenting herself. She is completely focussed on herself and stretches according to the guidelines of the ancient Indian yoga teachings, an Eastern philosophy that combines physical and mental exercises. Sculpture in fine bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chiselled, polished and patinated by hand. Taken directly from the wooden original. Limited edition of 49 pieces, numbered, signed and stamped with the foundry and ars mundi hallmark. With numbered certificate of authenticity and limited edition.
